FAILE 'LOVE SOUR LOVE': NEW BOOK FROM PAPER MONSTER

SOLD OUT!

October 22nd, 2009 Posted by: Paper Monster

Today we will be releasing our first limited edition hand-built book Love Sour Love. Started back in 2005 by the guys at Faile, this book has finally come to realization this past summer with a range of works being submitted over the span of those 4 years. This book is a limited edition of 80 hand-built books.

The premise of the book is simple. A handful of artists from across the globe were invited to submit four handmade pages representing their interpretation of the theme "love sour love". The only guidance provided was a strict color pallet of black, white, and any shade of green they found appropriate. The result is a book full of varied printing styles and paper textures.

Artists included in this book are as follows:

Miss Van, Futura, Bast, Judith Supine, Jeffrey Lin, Paul Insect, Alexander Strube, Blu, Alex Lukas, MOMO, Sam3, Andrew Forteath, Hugh Frost, Mike Perry, John Voight, Mike Houston, Keiichi Tanaami, Kayrock Screenprinting, WK Interact, Rotguy with Alex Lukas, Charles Wilkin, Anthony Lister, Borf, Faile and Swoon with original stories and poems by Matthew Boyle, Griffin Creech and Marcus Downe.

WK INTERACT: Q&A

Here is video footage shot by George Koroneos of an exclusive speaking engagement with WK during his book signing event on 07.01.09. In this rare Q&A session, WK Interact answers questions from guests in attendance about his current solo exhibition Motion Portrait at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery, as well as his experience as a street artist living in New York for the past 16 years.
WKs iconic wheatpaste graffiti can be seen covering virtually every surface in New York City, not to mention every known country worldwide.
