CHICAGO DATE ANNOUNCED FOR BANKYs 'EXIT THROUGH THE GIFT SHOP'

After killin' it at the Sundance Film Festival & very tight worldwide viewings to date, US Tour Dates have finally been announced for BANKYs "Exit Through The Gift Shop" and I'm shocked as shit to see that we will get to see it here, in Chicago (April 23rd). There's some pretty broad distribution so far, more dates are said to be announced, stay tuned.

JEAN-MICHEL BASQUIAT 'THE RADIANT CHILD'

'The Radiant Child' is a, indie documentary film about the infamous Jean-Michel Basquiat. The footage was shot in '86, just 2 years before Jean-Michel's passing. The lost reels of film were packed away in storage & forgotten for 20-years, until just recently, when Director Tamra Davis launched her film at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival.
Although this film doesn't have a release date yet, Netflix does have it in their database...show put this in your queue.

NEW BROW: CONTEMPORARY UNDERGROUND ART LOS ANGELES SCREENING DATE ADDED

New Brow: Contemporary Under Ground Art, the word is that this Indie Doc is an amazing-must see film. This flick has been doing a whole lot of globetrotting since its release...Miami, Amsterdam, Seattle and is currently set to be seen in London. A screening for Los Angeles (you lucky bastards!) has recently been announced. More details and a confirmed date to follow.

THE RUNAWAYS starring KRISTEN STEWART & DAKOTA FANNING

3-things I really dig!
1: Joan Jett...whether solo, with the Runaways or as Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. What is one of the very best concerts I've ever seen? Joan Jett and the Blackhearts at the Aloha Stadium, Honolulu, Hawaii, 1981 or '82. I'll have you know that the Surf Punks, Foreigner & Charlie Daniels all played that same gig, too.
2: Kristen Stewart...yes, even in 'Twilight'! I sat through much pain while watching 'Twilight', just to geek out over Kristen. I crush hard for her because secretly I want her to hate me and make me feel like crap.
3: Dakota Fanning...I think I like Dakota so much because I think she straddles the fence, between sane and insane.
'The Runaways' premiers at 2010 Sundance Film Festival. This movie is set to release to the rest of us normal people this Spring 2010.

Banksy drops a new film "Exit Through The Gift Shop'...a documentary. He unveils the flick at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah January 24th. Word on the street is that 'Exit Through...' is SICK!
