Earthling produced two albums before calling it quits: 1995's Radar (with scratching and guitar by Portishead's Geoff Barrow) and 1997's Human Dust. The group had moderate success, appearing on Later... with Jools Holland and being remixed by Portishead.

It's said that TV on the Radio are taking a year off from each other to 'go and live a life and change things up' according to front man Tunde Abedimpe. With that said, 'Pray for Rain' from Massive Attack's 'Splitting the Atom' EP features Tunde Adepimpe of TV on the Radio! Splitting the Atom, the 2nd single released so far, is set to drop October 6th. Unfortunately we won't see the whole package until Feb2010.
